Mini Mixed Media Art A Creative Adventure

Usually, in a craft project, I try to consider the environment and our waste in the materials we use. This craft project is not that I’m afraid. He uses all the bad things, including glitter (which I hid on the back of the cabinet), acrylic paints, plastic beads and gems, but the result is a feast of color and fun!

This project was inspired by a FAB project by Creation Space that used old picture frames to create amazing mixed artwork.

After making these mini mixed artworks, we added a string on top and used it as a Christmas ornament on our tree.

PUBLICATION:

Old jam pot tops
Versatile Craft Glue
Acrylic paint
Flare
Items you want to paste into your glue, including beads, plastic gems, colored paper, wooden matchsticks, or pom poms
String and a hot glue gun (if you want to make decorations from it)

AS:

Start by squeezing lots of versatile craft glue into a jar lid. Add drops of acrylic paint and mix the colors with a stick. Then start creating your mini artwork, but stick a lot of colorful items in the glue. As soon as they are ready, sprinkle with sequins and leave to dry. Depending on the amount of glue used, drying can take 2-3 days!

If you want to make Christmas decorations from it, then after the glue dries, glue a string loop to the back of the jam lids.

We liked this large chaotic mixed media project so much that we did it again, but this time we used large wooden bowls to hold our artwork. These works of art were so beautiful, rich and vibrant that I now have them on my wall at home.
